Chris Adam

Content Director

With a background in tech PR and journalism, Chris Adam serves as Content Director at Gravitate PR. He oversees content development for clients across multiple industries.

Previously, Chris worked as a national news producer and led content for an award-winning tech PR firm based in San Francisco. He also has led content creation and media relations for a pharma marketing agency and higher education institutions. Chris started his career as a TV news producer near his hometown in Indiana.

Chris is a mental health advocate, crisis counselor and volunteer with NAMI. He holds a degree in communications from Purdue University.

How did you get into PR?

I love being a storyteller. When I left TV news, PR was an outlet of interest because it combines my passions for writing and media.

What type of technology excites you the most?

I am most excited by technology that makes lives better. This can be across a variety of spaces but usually starts with an innovator seeing a problem or an opportunity to enrich lives.

Favorite hobbies or activities?

I am a summer fan! I enjoy going to amusement parks, the beach, and listening to music. In addition, I like to eat out and watch comedies.

Favorite movie or book?

My mom is tired of watching Home Alone and Home Alone 2 with me! Those movies always make me feel better.

Favorite food?

I like to say I am a simple but selective guy when it comes to food. I must say the chicken tenders from Chili’s are my fave.

Top destination you'd like to travel to?

Since I am a fan of warmer weather, I would like to visit The Bahamas.

Fun fact most people don't know about you?

In addition to being a crisis counselor, I have appeared in an online comedy show.
